The actual programs and information in the book are fine. You are led from basic to more advanced step by step, with a nice mix of projects and where to get the components you need is nice and clear. What I hate about the book is the quality of the pictures. The photos are much too dark; this I could forgive, but the Fritzing images, that are supposed to show you how to wire up your circuits, are so dark they are mostly impossible to see. I ended up working out where to put the wires on the Beaglebone by reading the code and working back from there. I am used to using boards like the BBB, the Pi, Arduino and Ti Launchpad so I know how to read the code, but the way this is illustrated is a joke.
