Scissor sconces of various designs have hovered over many a workbench and drafting table throughout the last hundred years. Ours is based on the originals from the 1930s. Constructed of durable solid steel with brass hollow rivets and cast iron wall mounts. Comes wired with an antique style lamp socket, 9 feet of twisted cloth cord, and an industrial wall plug. (Cord color shown is Vintage Brown).
The scissor arm opens and closes freely, and features three points of adjustment: horizontal swiveling at mount pole, expandable arm depth, and vertical tilt capability at the lamp socket. We leave the steel body and brass rivets unsealed, so they will continue to age naturally over time and develop the perfect patina.
Multiple lamp shades available for this fixture. Pictures show our 8 inch weathered copper cone and our clear glass shallow cone. Any of our shades can be paired with this one, so if you don't see your favorite in the dropdown menu, drop us a note during checkout and we will contact you.
