This listing is for one fully trimmed bridal mini topper top hat called 'Clockwork Sherlock', to be made from milliners quality buckram, handmade by me!
The hat will be covered in quality checked wool in a mix of brown, black and beige, then trimmed with an eclectic mix of original watch parts, wooden gears, hand twisted and curled copper and silver 'feathers' and a vintage watch face. As I use vintage items, I cannot promise trimmings will match exactly, but as close as possible to my sample hat pictured.
The hat is fully lined and is lighweight and very easy to wear. I used elasticated loops around the hat, giving you the choice of headband, pins, combs or clips and can easily be positioned and secured at the appropriate 'jaunty' angle!
All my hats are made from scratch, they are not covered cheap hat bases. Every hat pattern piece is cut by hand. My crowns and fully hand sewn, not glued. Each hat takes many hours to finish!
