Inspired by the world of Steampunk and Alternate Reality, “Imaginarium” is a test for the artist, an adventure, in some sense a brave attempt on colors. It has allowed me to take a step out of my neutral box. In the end, the result is this dramatic, tactile and visual concoction. It is a personal celebration of colors and textures.
After making the “Imaginarium” box, the “imaginarium” journal is a continuation of this adventure. When they say 'practice makes perfect', I say 'practice provides another opportunity to imagine, to journey, to play some more'.
Materials used : modeling compound, clay, paint, patina, metal components, brass and copper wires, hardware, vintage clock gears and finishing medium.
