This hat has a lovely vintage look starting with the tapestry fabric, adding feathers and a key and a cat cameo.
This hat is totally my own work from making the pattern, to the hand sewing and embellishing.
I use fusible interfacing to stiffen (not cardstock)and hand sew with poly/cotton thread (for strength).
I have hand sewn on 2 hair clips, but I can attach an elastic or loops for attaching by other methods if you prefer.
This hat measures 95mm (3¾")high plus feathers, and the brim is 130mm (5")
I am happy to turn up the sides if you would prefer.
