This steampunk statement necklace is loaded with detailing and glows with colour.
It begins with a Victorian style point edged, antique gold glazed base. The base is backed with a brass blank and a bronze toned flower filigree for a nicely finished appearance. Atop the base rests a bronze-toned decorative gear and on it is affixed an antique Seth Thomas 'Republic' pocket watch movement – circa 1900 – with a beautifully etched balance cock. It is lavishly embellished with layers and layers of antique gears and rubies from other antique and vintage watches enhancing its mechanical appearance. It is further accented with a vintage blue cabochon and an amber Swarovski crystal for additional colour and sparkle.
Below the watch movement dangles a gorgeously patterened Aqua Terra Jasper stone bead.
The necklace measures 3" in length x 1 5/8" in width and is equipped with an 18" chain. The chain is bisected on both sides with short lengths of bronze-toned beaded chain, and the chain attaches directly to the pendant with two lobster clasps for easy on and off.
