"Nevermore! Nevermore!" This is an Edgar Allen Poe nevermore Raven top hat made from my own pattern design. It is made of a black cotton fabric over an interfacing hat form with a gold braid gimp trim. The hat is embellished with a black velvety raven with genuine feather wings and tail, a beautiful black rose with black leaves, a handmade ivory cream color cardstock scroll with "Nevermore" printed in black, and a black double face satin ribbon bow in the back. The bird, scroll, rose, and bow are all hand sewn to the base for a secure hold. The piece has a black elastic hat band that goes behind the head and beneath the hair.
