This Bodice is made with…

-Outer fabric -100% Linen- Pre-Shrunk

-Grommets – nickle finish non-rusting two sided grommets

-Cleaning – Hand or Machine wash gentle cycle. Drip Dry. Do not wring or twist. Warm iron on reverse side.

All my bodices include –

-Side lacing – allows the bodice to fit multiple body types. Also ideal for when you don’t feel up to having a tight bodice on but you still want the look.

– “boning” of nylon cable ties that will not bend or break

-Special boning pocket design that allows the boning to “Float” in the casing to reduce or eliminate “pokes”

-Cool, breathable unbleached cotton lining.

-Rust Free Grommets and corset lacing

*** PLEASE TAKE NOTE!! – Bodices are different than corsets…

Please follow the measuring guide below and don't reduce your measurements. Bodices are not designed or built for tight lacing but are meant to be an outer garment to "finish off" your outfit.

Although I build my bodices to last, bodices are not built like corsets, or meant to be corsets, and so accidental damage may occur with more delicate outer fabrics. My bodices can be worn without a corset, but wearing it as a corset and tight lacing may cause the bodice to suffer abnormal wear and tear.

If you choose to wear a corset under your new bodice, take your measurements of your bust and waist with the corset adjusted how you want it following the guide below. Again, make sure to not reduce your measurements.

Center Back length – 13.75 inches

**How to measure yourself for a good fit…

1. Take a measurement of the fullest part of your bust that includes the bra or corset you intend to wear underneath.
2. Your natural waist. (Measure right where you bend naturally – Do not measure where most of us wear our jeans.)

**** Please Note – Remember…If your measurements fall at the lowest measurement the garment will close completely at all lacing points. If you want your garment to be 'open' a little you must make sure that your measurements are larger by an inch or so than the lowest measurement.

ALSO, if your measurements are larger than the largest numbers listed for the bodice, the garment WILL NOT fit properly and will 'distort' which is not a good look for anyone.
