Deconstructed antique taxidermy bird wings in shadow box frame. This was handmade by myself. The background is thick paper taken from a vintage atlas. I used a deep blue page with illustrations of the moon, which can be seen subtly in the top right hand corner of the mount. The pine frame has been hand painted in a black acrylic. The bird was from an old and badly damaged victorian dome, and so has been ‘deconstructed’, with just it’s wings present. It is very hard to get a good picture of this, and they really don’t do it justice! Measures 6″x6″ inside.
