Because this piece is so time intensive and it takes me a little while to source all the gloves, turn around time on this corset is 2-3 weeks.
Everything old is new again! Gorgeous black and off-white corset made from vintage and antique leather gloves.
The corset is constructed entirely of vintage (from the 40's & 50's), black and off-white leather gloves and is lined with a layer of canvas for extra support and a soft floral cotton lining. It's steel boned through out to help keep it's shape, hug the body, and all inside seams and edges are encased in bias tape. It laces up the back through double sided grommets. This corset is not meant for waist training, but it will still pull in your waist a few inches and give your torso and nice hour glass shape.
Because these are vintage gloves, there are a few flaws in the leather here and there and minor soiling to the white gloves. In my opinion, this only adds to the charm of the piece and is why I've chosen to work with vintage gloves rather than new ones. Recycle, re-use, renew!
There is steel boning throughout (with 1/2" and 1/4" steel along the side seams, back, & front). It laces up through double sided black grommets. The front is approx. 12" tall and the back is 11.5-12" tall. The sides are approx. 10" tall. If you require a taller or shorter corset, or have special shape requirements, I would suggest ordering a custom-made corset. This corset can be made in sizes 20", 21", 22", 23", 24", 25", 26", 27", 28", 29", and 30". The front averages 12" tall and the back is 11.5-12" tall. The sides are approx. 10" tall. I can make it a little shorter or a little taller if need be.
MEASUREMENTS:
*This is a custom-sewn corset made to your measurements (see diagram). I will need 4 measurements in order to complete your corset. 1.) how tall are you? 2.) your underbust measurement 3.) your natural waist measurement 4.) your upper hip measurement.
For the last 3 measurements, measure around your torso at the points which correspond to the lines on the diagram ( the last image). You can give me measurements in inches or centimeters. Please ask if you have any questions about how to take your measurements.
When deciding which size is right for you, it's best to go 2-4" smaller than your natural waist. 1-2" smaller will allow you to almost fully close the corset and 3-4" will leave a small gap in the back to show off the lacing. Please take into consideration that bulky clothing will add 1/2"-1" to your measurements. Please convo if you have any questions about sizing.

Purchases subtotaling $200 or more must be sent Priority Mail with insurance, so if you're outside the States and this applies to you, I'll have to invoice you for the rest of the postage.
