This PRETTY CAMEO features a Lovely Ivory color on Black 3/D “SUGAR SKULL”. This SUGAR SKULL is presented in AWESOME and BRILLIANT DETAIL. The IVORY COLORED SUGAR SKULL is set against a Black COLORED background. This CAMEO has to be seen in real life to APPRECIATE its ARTISTIC “3/D” BEAUTY. My photo cannot start to do it justice. Flowers are a common addition to represent not only death, but also life. Therefore, although skulls are often depicted in scary ways, sugar skulls aren't meant to induce nightmares.
They are created to celebrate Day of the Dead ( Día de los Muertos) a Mexican holiday. The celebration takes place on November 1st and 2nd, related to the Catholic holidays of All Saints’ Day (November 1) and All Souls’ Day (November 2), and it is in remembrance of family and friends who have died.
