This is a handcrafted bentwood ring built to your specifications. Made from Tasmanian Myrtle and embedded watch parts. The clockwork channel forms a full, seamless band.
We source our materials locally as Tasmania is home to some of the most beautiful woods on Earth. Myrtle can be buffed to a high lustre before finish is even applied. It is a true gem.
These rings consist of multiple, steam-bent layers. This gives superior strength and a consistent grain pattern. They are also coated in a durable cyanoacrylate finish. The ring is water-resistant, however strong chemicals and solvents should be avoided; especially nail polish remover(acetone).
The watch parts are completely sealed with cyanoacrylate, given the ring a smooth finish all over.
Ring widths from 8 – 9mm are available. The pictured ring is a US size 7.5 and has a width of 8mm.
PLEASE NOTE: As wood is a natural material each ring will vary slightly in grain and colour. Watch parts will vary.
These rings are made to order so please allow for a processing time of 10-12 days. This is to ensure your wooden gem is given the care it deserves.
