This upcycled, re-imagined coat has a wonderful tailored line and shape and a historical, Victorian feel. The bodice is made of a patterned, textured paisley brocade, with velvet military-style buttons down the front and lace details. The 3/4 length sleeves are trimmed in velvet and lace at the cuffs. The coat fastens with hooks and eyes at the front, and has a beautiful and flattering shape.
The custom-designed skirt has two layers, and was made with an elegant embossed black floral velvet fabric, which coordinates beautifully with the bodice. It graduates from shorter in the front to longer at the back, and finishes with a beautiful back cascade detail. The skirt is lined in a lovely and striking blue and black floral satin, and trimmed with luxurious black lace.
This special coat works well for a Steampunk or Neo-Victorian look, for Burning Man or a Fantasy Fair, or could be something absolutely unique to wear to an every day formal event. It's a size 6-8
