Suspended from a bronze vintage, Victorian-style chatelaine base charm are a lovely collection of gold and silver tone miniature dressmaking items and tools. These dressmaking charms include a silver cotton reel, a magnifying glass, a mannequin, a pair of scissors, and a thimble. A larger pair of golden scissors and a silver tape measure charm lie on top of the bronze chatelain base.
This lovely, eye-catching, metal alloy brooch is designed and handmade in the United Kingdom by Steampunk jewellery designer, Philippa Lusty (www.philippalusty.com).
This item measures approximately 5cms/2" wide x 8cms/3 1/4" long, and has a bronze brooch fastening pin measuring approximately 2.5cms/1" wide on the reverse side of the base (see picture showing type of brooch pin used).
