I wanted to make an oil burner with precision that looked unusual, appealing and a talking point when friends see it. Also meditative. It's a lovely sight seeing steam rising up in the flask along with the red glow of the copper. It's also practical in that the flask can be removed for cleaning just by undoing the finger tight screws on the brass collar. Where possible I use recycled products of which this is a mixture. The base is natural hard wood which has been left unstained.
Add water (highly recommended 50ml for best results ) and 5- 10 drops of your favourite oils. (The flask holds 100ml of water) *** Our copper joints are hot welded guaranteeing strength and heat resistance. The oil carrier flask is removable for easy cleaning and the flask can be boiled in a saucepan with a little detergent inside to bring it back to its original pristine condition.
CAUTION: Never leave a burning Oil Burner unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not place on or near a source of heat. . Do not let the flask burn dry or boil. Use only on a heat resistant surface away from flammable items.
