16 precision conical bevel gears that smoothly counter-rotate with the touch of a finger. The original cog ring can be worn on fingers or thumb for one-handed motion.
Hard-wearing stainless steel with a polished or satin dark grey finish. Note that the satin finish may wear to a polish on the contact surfaces and moving parts over time, without becoming loose or jamming.
Parts are individually machined and matched, then “run in” for smooth and light motion, which improves further with wear.
Rounded internal comfort fit.
Note that sizing should be snug for best operation (so the band stays still).
Fractional sizes are available on request. All sizes are scaled versions of the same design.
Occasional cleaning with soap and a toothbrush is recommended.
