This gnarled beast is a lonely critter is related to the fungi family. Most fungi has a short seasonal life, however Mossgrin has lived for over 200 years, rooting himself deep within a lost forest in Barenbrookshire. If you ever come across Mossgrin he is full of tales of the battles, miracles and amazing achievements of the fungi civilization. He is also full of sorrow as his family and friends are never around long, wilting away season to season. What has uplifted Mossgrin in recent years is his blossoming relationship with the Barenbrookshire villagers. They found him in 1976 and since then have moved their village festival into his forest. They use him as a kind of maypole to dance around whilst he sings old folk rhymes joyously!
