This pen has a unique barrel that is turned, sanded and polished. The sanding and polishing process of the barrel on the pen barrel is a 12 step process that shows this material to it's fullest beauty.
The pen is a bolt action style in a Steampunk finish made of antiqued copper, pewter and brass. Here is a pen straight out of Victorian science fiction and the industrial 19th century. The pen fuses a love of old fashioned materials and the usability of modern technology. It features pen head screws, riveted design patterns, replica Gattling gun barrels, a Bold Action mechanism plus a mixture of finishes. The bolt action is used to extend and retract the Parker style ink cartridge that comes with the pen. These ink cartridges can be purchased at any office supply store for continual use.
The barrel of this pen is a boiler plate look made from Copper, Aluminum. and Brass After it is hand formed and cast it is laminated with UV resistant polyester resin for an enduring finish and polished to a smooth finish.
