CDXX Pipes brings the art of freehand pipe carving from the tobacco traditions to herbal smoking enthusiasts. The chambers of our pipes are a fraction of the size of a traditional pipe, making them much more functional for smoking legal herbal blends.

CDXX Pipes are carved from Briar burl from the Mediterranean. Briar burl is cut from the root ball of Heath trees and dried for 30-60 years. Pipe makers have long valued this wood for its extreme hardness, density, fire resistance and relatively light weight. It is not uncommon for briar burl pipes to be passed on for generations.

The glossy finish on our pipes is the result of a ten-step sanding and buffing process. There is a thin layer of Carnauba wax applied near the end of the process. No toxic chemicals or stains are ever used on our pipes.
