This working compass necklace is one of those designs where even though I made it, I cannot stop looking at it haha It turned out better than I had envisioned! Love all the different textures, patterns and metal combos. This one's a show stopper, that's for sure!
It all started with a stunning statement necktie pendant made from brass. The brass has an antique, oxidized look. The necktie (which is hinged at the "knot") was embellished with an ornate silver victorian frame and rhinestones. At the center lies a small real working compass. How cool is that?
A lovely gold tone filigree was used to decorate the tie further. A piece of antique silver chain and this beauty was done.
The chain is hypoallergenic, lead and nickel free. It's 21 inches long and has a toggle clasp closure. If you'd like a different length, message me and I'll adjust the chain for you at no extra cost. The necktie pendant is 3.5 inches long. You're going to love wearing this unique necklace and showing it off 😉

Malta is an island with over 7000 years of history and this is why I have always been intrigued by prehistoric, ancient and medieval times. Due to my country's rich history, I have been exposed to aged and weathered objects and structures all my life and this is where my greatest inspiration comes from.
