A reproduction print from the deluxe illustrated edition of Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea published in 1871 which contained over 100 wonderful engraved illustrations by Alphonse de Neuville and Edouard Riou. The famous story follows the undersea adventures of the submarine Nautilus as it explores the depths of the world’s oceans under the command of the famous Captain Nemo.
This image has been derived from a high resolution scan of the original illustration and adapted to include other typographical elements from the book.

This is a fine art digital reproduction of a vintage print that has been copied or scanned in high resolution from an original source image. Where required the image may have been digitally enhanced, restored or repaired. In some cases certain artefacts and age-related marks may have been left to preserve the vintage feel of the original print.
All prints are made to order and will be professionally reproduced onto premium paper stock using premium archival pigment inks which provide greater print longevity than dye-based inks.
The Giclée printing process provides better colour accuracy than other means of reproduction. Archival quality ensures that the prints are light-fast and non water soluble.
The print been scaled for best fit within the A3 or A4 sheet and set within a white margin to assist with framing and mounting. The actual scale of the printed image and margin is shown in the listing photos.
* All printed images are left to dry in a for 24hrs to ensure ink and image has fully cured with the paper stock prior to packing. *
