This striking men’s steampunk waistcoat is part of our new collection for 2014, The Earl Grey’s Tea Party, which combines a striking blend of neo-victorianna with Asia and the Orient.
This gent’s waistcoat is very much a statement piece for the dapper chap whether lounging about the study or at a social soiree. It would also be perfect for a military style ensemble.
The waistcoat is single breasted in style, although it features a secondary set of buttons in the double breasted position. The buttons are metal with a military style. The waistcoat fastens high to the neck and has an oriental, mandarin collar and a single strip of coloured satin runs down the centre front which echoes the similar styling seen on military trousers. At the back is an adjustable waist strap.
The waistcoat is made from a smart yet durable cotton drill fabric, both front and back, which is available in a wide range of colours. Buttons can be gold or silver coloured and will be matched according to your chosen colours unless you specify a preference. The coloured satin strip also comes in a wide range of colours.
This is a custom item which will be made to order to the measurements you will be asked to provide and as such normally takes 6-8 weeks.
