Moseh’s Staff (The Artifact Hunters Book 4)
All things must come to an end…
London is in the frozen grip of an unnatural winter and Queen Victoria wants answers. Cara and Nate know who – the Curator. The queen’s artifact hunters just don’t know what is responsible. Cara is on the trail of an ancient and powerful artifact capable of freezing a city and stirring demons. First she must confront her past and her father’s history. Only in learning why her father became a disciple of the Curator can she hope to learn what the old noble seeks and why he is so fascinated by her.
Then tragedy strikes and the bond forged by Nefertiti’s Heart is severed. Nate without Cara succumbs to his darkness and he lashes out at those he holds responsible for her loss. Meanwhile, in the shadows, Inspector Fraser waits for his opportunity to pull down the man known as the villainous viscount.
With London entombed in ice and all hope lost, could this be the end…?

A Great Steampunk read!,
Her writing style is absolutely brilliant. From the start, she has a world that is true to the one we live in. By that, I mean that there isn’t just one thing happening at a time, that conveniently waits to be solved before the next problem occurs. Just like life, there are problems, secrets, jealousy, anger and bit n pieces happening throughout. Unlike a lot of authors I have seen try this, Exley has done it better than I have ever read before. She has blended the world, the characters and all the action so well that the world moulds itself around you and you are completely consumed by the story. I must say, you have never experienced a book hangover, until you have experienced the one you have from Moseh’s Staff!
I love the characters! Cara is strong, intelligent and very fun to follow. With a great willpower and the ability to stick with it, until she has gotten to the bitter end of her job. All of the characters have their own personalities and such great descriptions that I can picture them very easily, all the way to their body language and facial expressions. She has even given the evil ones the same level of detail and care, when creating them.
The pace is perfection, as it moves swiftly, throwing the world and action at you, whilst still keeping you updated with detail and extra little bits to make the world realistic.
I must say, I highly highly recommend giving this a read, especially if you are a lover of steampunk. This book, and the series are truly a MUST read!

Steam punk experienced for the first time.,
This is the fourth book of the series all of which have had a good storyline with twists and turns keeping you turning the page. The characters are individuals that you want to see progress, see what they will encounter and do next.
I am looking forward to the next instalment (Nessy needs a man before she combust!).
