a miniature burgundy top hat decorated with a resin cast and aged wolf skull, skeleton key, braid and feathers.
first, I hand knit the hat with 100% australian pure wool. then it's washing machine felted & blocked, and given a good shellacking (to make it hard so it won't lose shape). then the fun starts and i can decorate the mini hat.
i make up the pattern as i go along – i don't knit from a pattern. normally i knit socks. if you are interested on seeing some of my projects, i'm catamation on www.ravelry.com.
