A comfortable elastic strap of your choice of color is attached. I find that the elastic band really keeps these little hats on your head and is, in my opinion, the most comfortable to wear and the most versatile. With the elastic you have your choice of wearing it on the right or left side of your head or directly in the center.
The strap is meant to be worn at the back of the head (under the hair at the nape of the neck) although kids might want to wear it as a chin strap.

Careful choices are made using premium (and many times upcycled) items. It measures 3 1/2" high by 4 1/2"x 5" wide at the base.
