Well if poisoning them is on your mind, and you'd like something pretty to hide it in then this tiny hand-blown urn is just the thing for all well dressed Evil poisoners! Made with clear and dark cobalt blue glass (old poison bottles were always blue) to remind you the contents are toxic to ensure you won't use it in your own tea! It even comes with a tiny 's' shaped handle and spout to help you dispense the contents drop-by-evil-drop!
As an added warning on both sides I've also impressed into the glass a 'skull and crossbones' design. The design on one side will be slightly clearer than the other, and unlike many bottles that have novelty labels stuck on this is impressed into the hot glass so will never wear off. The colour is made by blowing real coloured glass – THIS IS NOT PAINTED ON but actually part of the glass so can't wear away.
This tiny little hand-blown bottle has a real cork stopper that can be removed so you can carry whatever is most precious to you close to your heart! Ideal for mementos, a drop of perfume, or a lock of hair, even just sweeteners for your tea – whatever you’d like to keep near you. It is also perfect for LARP (live action role playing) as it can be the ideal container for poisons, potions, health tonics, fairy dust, glitter, holy water – or just as an unusual little pendant!
I hand form each bottle, no two are ever quite alike, using a laboratory grade version of ‘Pyrex’ borosilicate glass and high quality borosilicate art glass for the colours. Each is then stopped with a removable stopper made of real cork, and fitted with a 925 silver loop before being threaded onto and 18 inch silver plated chain. If you'd like it swapped before dispatched for a black leather or silicone rubber cord, or a silver plated snake chain in 16/18/20/22 or 24inch, please let me know the length you would like when ordering.
From the top of the lip (not including the cork) to the bottom the urn measures 36mm (about 1.42 inches) and the 'bulb' at the fattest part is just under 16mm (about 0.62 inches), and comes supplied with a spare tiny cork. As it is entirely handmade there may be some slight surface imperfections and/or bubbles in the glass.
The glass has been fully annealed in microprocessor controlled kiln to improve toughness, (but it is still glass and will break if thrown around!) Every bottle I make is always slightly different, and comes with a certificate that I have individually signed, and is always a true one of a kind piece of artisan flamework made entirely by hand in my studio in the heart of the English countryside.
