These handmade one of a kind, Steampunk earrings feature a matching pair of 19 ruby jewel antique circa 1940's, American made "Elgin" wristwatch movements.
Ornate Victorian inspired antiqued Sterling silver over brass bezels serve as the decorative foundation, for these fascinating vintage timepieces.
The prestigious, Elgin Watch Co. produced some of the finest, American factory made hand finished watches. Known for their beautifully designed pocket and wristwatches, Antique Elgin timepieces are most sought after and are always a favorite among collectors.
These exquisite watch mechanisms are stunning!
Each movement displays brilliant genuine ruby jewels, exposed gold brass gears, highly polished steel accents and satin brushed finished plates.
I've embellished each timepiece with antique steel watch winding gears, set with faceted Swarovski crystal stones.
Genuine freshwater white pearls, capped in filigree add to the elegance and old world charm of these stunning earrings.
I utilized hypoallergenic (Nickel and lead free) Victorian-styled, antiqued silver lever back pierced ear wires.
The earrings measure 2-1/8 inches long by 7/8-inches wide.
