This rustic wooden heart pendant has been hand carved and shaped from Finnish plum wood. It is decorated with real vintage watch parts (cogs and gears), and has wood burned accents (cracks and marks) – an art form also known as pyrography.
The size of this rustic pendant with its cracks and marks is approximately 4 cm / 1.5 inch in diameter.
It has a natural beeswax oil finish, which really brings out the reddish brown color of the wood, and leaves a matte surface. It is non-toxic. No stain or dye has been used to color the wood.
The pendant comes with a 1mm thin black cord that can be easily adjusted to any length to suit larger as well as thin necks.
This handmade pendant is unique, the only one of its kind. No two pendants in my shop are shaped exactly the same. Each one also has different pyrography. I do not make copies. All my pendants are made from the wood I find in the forests here in Finland.
The pictures have been taken in daylight, yet the colors of the natural wood may vary slightly.
