Hand made to order this UK design (qwerty) computer keyboard has been customized to the style of Steampunk. A vintage look much like a classic typewriter, it is fitted with bronze aged key pads in a font of the retro era. The Font is much like that of a typical vintage typewriter but other fonts are available in various colours by order.
Each unit is made to order and tested before dispatch. Every key is hand made in an aged vintage style. All computer components are of a modern tried and tested format in the UK qwerty pattern.
An ideal entry level “low cost” steampunk keyboard to customize your home computer or an addition to a laptop. Each unit is a one off, there maybe small changes or completely different, but each keyboard is a one of a kind

The Keyboard chassis is new these items are meant to have a retro / vintage feel to them.
Build time is normal less than one week and dispatched the same week depending on vintage parts supply, We try to keep in stock a limited number for fast turn around times.

This is an entry level Steampunk styled keyboard. Based on a well tried and tested keyboard, the keyboard is fully stripped of all parts, modified where required and rebuilt using Vintage style key pads. The base is normal plastic construction and the key pads are brass or bronze coated in a marine varnish for long life. We have used this style of keyboard for over a year without any faults. We've tested them the best we can, hard use and normal every day use. We pride ourselves on offering the customer a good starting point to their steampunk home computers, Value for money and after sales service. If you find you have any problem, we are here to help the best we can. A detailed note is delivered with the keyboard on "keyboard care"
Each Keyboard is marked with its own identity number and signed. No two keyboards are the same, even the basic model here will have small differences to keep it apart from the others.
These starter keyboard is only available for a short time.

These hand made custom units and are based on a tried and tested standard UK keyboard. (other keyboard patterns available) Each unit is normally built to order in the classic, aged and vintage style. Some may differ from others in small detail. Even though the chassis is new these items are meant to have a retro / vintage feel to them. In some cases parts are carefully sourced for the final finish. Each key pad is made by hand and not factory built giving them a one of a kind feel.
We are a small family outfit that are very passionate for the steampunk/ retro style. Our products are low volume hand made entry level units used as TV / Film props and now available for retail. We believe in keeping costs down but to continue to provide affordable steampunk style goods.
