CUSTOM DESIGN full sized top hat!
Every one of my full size hats are made to order, to ensure the perfect fit. I prefer to make your hat to measure (taken half an inch above your ears), but if you’re buying for someone else, I do offer standard sizes of small, medium or large (22, 23 or 24 inches respectively). I also include padding strips with every order for the perfect fit!
I use a fabulous range of fabrics to cover my hats, steam pressed into place to prevent unsightly wrinkles or gathers. I decorate my hats with a carefully selected mix of quality, vintage and upcycled ribbons, charms, feathers and trimmings.
Based on authentic Victorian Hatter’s techniques, I’ve developed my own modern construction process for the modern day. There’s no cardboard in my hats, I only use genuine milliners buckram!
As a UK-based, genuinely solo craftswoman, all my hats and fascinators are lovingly handmade from start to finish by me. This means that no two of my creations will ever be exactly the same, making each item unique to you!
MY HAT MEASUREMENTS AND SIZES
I offer five sizes of hats in total. My most popular size is my mini which measures 4” high by 6.5” x 7” wide at the brim base, but I offer both smaller and larger designs, right up to full size, like this one.
