This steampunk jewellery set overflowing with massive detailing!
It begins with a brass heart to which layers upon layers of both contemporary and vintage gears in bright brass, copper, silver, and bronze tones are affixed, giving it a very mechanical appearance. In the centre rests an amber Swarovski crystal. The wings sweeping off from the pendant's sides have been brushed with an iridescent glaze for additional colour and sparkle.
Below the heart dangles a vintage Elgin watch movement. It, too, has been embellished with more vintage gears and another amber Swarovski crystal. Amber beads bisect the 18" chain rising from the tops of the heart's curved edges and the reverse side of the heart is completed with a flower filigree for a nicely finished appearance. The pendant measures 2 1/8" long x 2 7/8" wide
The earrings created to complete this set feature two more vintage Elgin watch movements – also embellished with tiny vintage gears and amber Swarovski crystals – and backed with brass blanks and flower filigrees. Below them dangle lovely antique gold-toned filigree hearts.
These earrings measure 2" long x 3/4" wide.
