This stunning steampunk skirt is the perfect addition to your spooky witchy wardrobe if you want to make an entrance and stand out from the crowd. Great for those who are looking for night circus, dark circus, beetlejuice, skellington, gothic, sleepy hollow or if you just love the classic contrast of black and white stripe.
It is made from a beautiful quality black and white, striped cotton. The skirt is ruched up at the sides to create an elegant 'apron' front and a voluminous bustle at the back. It has complimentary trimming of black lace and satin ribbon (although this may vary slightly from what is shown) which echoes Victorian costume styles. There is enough volume in the back to accomodate a bustle pad. The waist fastens with a button and hooks and eyes. There is a second button to reduce the waist size by an inch.
The Parlour Bustle Skirt can be worn on it's own for a fun steampunk outfit or over another skirt (such as our Josephine Underskirt ) to give you a more traditional Victorian costume look. The skirt also matches the Striped Victorian Bolero available in the shop to create a fully coordinated look.
