ANY outfit looks good with a topper, whether you’re a Steampunk Adventurer, Mad Hatter or Victorian
This design is called 'Wild at Heart', which I've covered in beautiful distressed faux suede leather fabric, then I've edged the brim with luxurious satin bias binding. To decorate I've added a light tartan wool headband, held into place leather and brass 'straps'. As centrepiece to the front, I've attached a hand cast and airbrushed lions face, surrounded by a brass effect 'porthole' and finished with a flurry of pheasant feathers.

MY HAT MEASUREMENTS AND SIZES
Full size measures 6.5” high by 10” x 11.5” wide at the brim base (which may alter slightly with fitting size)
All my hat designs can be made in larger and smaller sizes, please just send me a convo to discuss your preferences.
HOW TO WEAR YOUR HAT
The hat brim is slightly curved, for that perfect ‘jaunty angle’ when worn. Just look at my profile picture as an example, although you can of course wear it to the left or right, slightly further forward/back to suit you.
This is a full sized 'percher' hat which can be worn full on the head or with a hat elastic at a jaunty angle.
MY GUARANTEE TO YOU
All my top hats are lovingly handmade, from start to finish by me, from cutting out the individual pattern pieces by hand, right through to the final decoration.
Based on authentic ‘flat pattern’ techniques, I’ve developed to my own construction process, using genuine milliners buckram (you won’t find any cardboard in my hats!!), then fully lined inside the crown. I use a fabulous range of stunning fabrics to cover my hats, steam pressed carefully into place, to prevent any unsightly ridges, creases, wrinkles or bulk.
To decorate my hats, I use a carefully selected mix of quality, vintage and up-cycled ribbons, charms, feathers and trimmings.
As a genuine craftswoman and artisan, all my items are lovingly handmade, so no two hats will ever be exactly the same, ensuring you receive a unique piece of art!
