This bentwood ring is made from Tasmanian Leatherwood and features embedded watch parts with a brass frame. The wood and brass are aged and weathered. You will receive the exact ring pictured.

These rings consist of multiple, steam-bent layers. This gives superior strength and a consistent grain pattern. They are also coated in a durable cyanoacrylate finish. The watch parts and brass are completely sealed, giving the ring a smooth finish all over.
Caring for your ring:
The finish on your ring is durable but unfortunately not indestructible. It is recommended to avoid the use of harsh soaps and chemicals while wearing your ring, in particular acetone(nail polish remover).
A little water here and there is fine, but repeated exposure to saltwater/washing dishes etc may dull the finish.
Inevitably your ring will accumulate a few scratches. A simple temporary solution is to wipe on a small amount of carnauba wax(or your preferred wax) and rub off with a clean piece of cloth until it shines.
If your ring is significantly worn out you can contact me to to discuss refinishing. But if you can find a more convenient refinishing service we won't take offence. Any reputable bentwood ring maker should be able to revitalise this ring.
