This particular model of corset is designed for people who want a comfortable corset, and to be wearing the corset for long periods of time– at a festival, on a stage, or for everyday waist-training.
There is only 1 layer of very breathable fabric (cotton coutil). All my corsets include a waist-tape on the inside, a front closing busk, and metal boning.
This is a made-to-order item. You will get a cotton-muslin prototype of the corset so that we can fine-tune the fit. When we ask for your measurements, we can also talk about colors, styles, embroidery, trim, boning, and fabrics.
The pictured corset is a mid-bust corset (you'd need to wear a shirt under it if you were wearing it as outerwear, but it gives support). We can also make underbust corsets or overbust corsets.
The embroidery on the above corset is a reproduction of a Symington corset from the victorian era. Whether you want an exact museum copy of an existing corset or a totally modern one, we will be happy to discuss with you and work to make the perfect corset for you!
