All of our patterns have been made many times in our studio so we know they work and give long lasting results.
This paper sewing pattern is exclusively designed by Harlots and Angels Corsetry and has been crafted to be a perfect and comfortable fit for all shapes and sizes. This pattern can be relied on to give the beautiful curves that a real Victorian construction corset should give whilst fitting modern body measurements.
Detailed instructions on measuring yourself, fitting and adapting the pattern to your own measurements to enable you to make a corset that is perfect.
Available in the following sizes: Please not these are the actual Corset measurements and you should generally choose a pattern with corset waist 3" -4" less than your natural waist.
26" -28"-30" waist MEDIUM size is actual corset finished size (suitable for natural waist lines of between 29" -34")
Material requirements:
approx 1.25 metres for small and medium sizes 1.5m for large and xlarge sizes (this is for plain fabrics, allow extra for large patterns and nap fabrics) main outer fabric, middle lining (medium weight cotton or polycotton and coutil or cotton drill main lining.
approx 24 2 part eyelets and setting tool
24cm busk (available in supply section of our etsy shop
3.5 metres x12mm flat sprung steel boning, or a combination of fla steel and spiral steels
4.5 metres x 22mm wide double folded bias binding (5m for large and xlarge sizes)
1 x 4 or 5 metre lacing cord
2 x 4.5cm x 35cm long reinforcing strips (or petersham tape doubled can be used to reinforce the eyelets
