I've had such fun painting tiny fat wind-up birds over the past couple years, I figured I'd give miniature wind-up kittens a spin. Inspired somewhat by the Exploding Kittens card game (The Oatmeal is hilarious), the Neko Atsume mobile game (I've renamed all of my cats after spices & teas), and also by my love of all things small & fat & fluffy & Steampunk, these are pieces I've been wanting to paint for a while.
