Complete with tiny spout, lid and handle these tiny teapots will help show everyone your love for tea! Here is one for tea fans, made with an odd glass that shifts colour depending on the light! In daylight they have a lovely pinky purple colour, but under some artificial light (especially fluorescent lights) they look entirely clear! I have shown them in both sunlight and artificial light so you can see how dramatic the colour shift can be.
I have hand formed each teapot with solid borosilicate glass ('Pyrex' is the well known trade-name of this type of glass) using a high quality coloured art glass which I've melted directly in a flame to shape them.
I have then attached silver loops through the handles and then attached 925 sterling silver ear wires.
No two teapots are ever exactly the same! The photos shows the ones that I will send for different angles.
These teapots are about 14.2-14.4mm high (about 0.56 inches) and the glass has been fully annealed in a microprocessor controlled kiln. It also comes gift boxed with a certificate, that I have individually signed, stating that it is a handmade one-off item made by me entirely by hand by lampwork in my studio in the heart of the English countryside.
