This Renaissance costume will be made to your exact measurements…takes about 7 to 10 days.. The costume consists of an Overdress in the Irish Renaissance style, with Chemise. This Dress would look great at any Faire, reenactment, or Pirates Ball.
I do have a few dresses pre-made so if you are in a hurry please drop me a line with your height and waist measurement and i will let you know what i have in stock.
~The Overdress~
The Overdress will be made of your choice of color in cotton material, with black trim and Ribbed Renaissance ribbons on the bodice front for accent. It will have sturdy boning and canvas (duck cloth) lining for support. The skirt is attached to the bodice ~this makes it very comfortable and easy to wear~ The skirt will be floor length and hemmed to your specific height, it is very full and long, The material resists wrinkles and is extremely durable. Lastly the bodice laces closed threw metal grommets with black satin ribbons. The colors are rich and vibrant.
~The Chemise~
any color you like, just let me know at auction close (black, white, offwhite, red, pink, yellow, purple, green, blue, grey) if there is not a color listed that you had in mind, ask and i will see if i can get it for you.
The chemise is made of a light cotton blend, It is whisper soft, and has long full sleeves with draw string ruffed cuffs, The neck line is also closes with a satin draw string ribbon. You can wear the chemise off-shoulder if you like. It is ankle length.
Sadly any accessories not mentioned in the description, like the Caviler hat and belt.. are my personal props and not for sale.
I have been making Costumes since 1982 and attend all the faires i can get to, I like my costumes to be very wearable…Meaning they must stand up to years of enjoyment. I still wear one of the first dresses i ever made, its color has lasted for more then 30 years and i still get compliments on it every time i wear it, thats because i use the best fabrics found and take my time making the costumes, I am not into mass producing and making hundreds of the same thing. Sewing is peaceful to me and i enjoy it very much.

Some with wolf themes, vampire, gothic, and fairy, So far my favorite was a jeweled dragonfly bodice with a deep wine colored skirt, but all the costumes i have made were equally enchanting to see when finished.
