Blue Lady Couture are now pleased to offer this fabulous Victorian day gown available to be made to your specifications in a wide range of fabric and colour options.
The outfit consists of a high necked, fitted jacket in the cuirass style with panel lines which flatter your waist and at the back an elegant peplum flares out over the bustle in a very fashionable 1880s style. The jacket fastens with vintage glass or metal buttons. The fitted sleeve can be 3/4 or wrist length. The floor length skirt is flat at the front while pleating and gathering at the side and back allow for the voluminous, soft drapes which are caught up by hand to create the bustle.
The pictures show the dress in a linen which is 100% authentic (please convo me if you are looking for a stripe or pattern as I have to source these on an individual basis) and makes the dress perfect for a less formal or middle-class Victorian look, or pehaps you are portraying a colonial Victorian or Steampunk in hotter climes! The pictures also show the dress worn over chemise, corset, petticoat and bustle pad (all not included) which gives the period silhouette. The percher hat is also not included!

Then in the notes box please be sure to specify the sleeve length you prefer and whether you would like metal or glass buttons. Once you have placed your order I will forward you a measurement chart. Please remember this is a custom item which will take a minimum of 6 – 8 weeks plus delivery time.
