This is Reproduction of an 1870's Dinner Gown, Evening Gown, or Ballgown. The cut is known as the Postilion. It consists of the Bodice, the Underskirt, the Overskirt Apron, & the Bustled Back. This gown is only in 2 pieces, with the Bodice being separate from the Skirt. The Skirt is built in One Piece.
The Bodice is lined & it is Boned in all of the proper places. It closes at the center back with Lacing Ribbon through Eyelet Holes. The back has a Flirtatious Peplum, which is trimmed. The center front comes to a point. The V-style neckline is accentuated with a Beautiful Beaded & Sequined Applique.
The Skirt sections are trimmed in various places with Black Sequin Braid & Black Fringe. The 1 1/4 inch wide waistband closes at the center back with a Hook & Bar Fastener.
The LENGTH from the waist to the floor measures 00 inches, with a 0 inch double hem. The CIRCUMFERENCE is 00 inches. The waist is currently set at 00 inches, & it can be made larger (up to 00 inches)by moving the Bar in. It can also be made smaller by moving the Bar over.
This Gown will accommodate a BUST MEASUREMENT up to 00 inches, & a WAIST MEASUREMENT up to 00 inches. These Measurements are achievable Only with the use of the Privacy Panel.
This Gown will accommodate a BUST MEASUREMENT up to 00 inches, & a WAIST MEASUREMENT up to 00 inches, without the use of the Privacy Panel, & with the ribbon being pulled tightly through the Eyelets to close the bodice Snugly. **Please Note: The Waist Measurements that are given is for the Natural Waist, which is about 2 inches above the Belly Button.
This Gown is shown on a dress form with the measurements set at a Bust of 00 inches, & a Waist set at 00 inches. This Gown is shown over a Wired Bustle Petticoat, which is Not Included.
