**1860's Traveling Suit**
consists of 3 Pieces, which are the Zouave Jacket, the Skirt, & the Belt with Long Sashes
~All Seams are Finished & there are No Raw Edges~
The Pattern that I used to create this Basque Bodice was drafted from an original Pattern that was used during the 1860's.
The stylish Jacket is Lined with fabric, & it closes at the center front with a Hook & Eye Fastener. The Front neckline has turned back Lapels (Revers), that are made from coordinating Fabric & are Trimmed with Braid. The rounded front & sides are trimmed with Fringe at the bottom edge, ending at the Back pleated Tail… This Flirtatious Tail is topped with Buttons. The Sleeves are Pagoda Style with turned back Lapels (Revers) at the front, which are also trimmed with Braid. The bottom edge of the Sleeves are trimmed with Fringe, to correspond with the Jacket. **Please Note that I am wearing a White Blouse underneath that is NOT INCLUDED…
The Skirt is made from the same Fabric. The Bottom is trimmed with either Ribbon or Braid. The Waistband is 1 1/4 inches wide & it closes at the back with a Hook & Bar fastener.
The Belt with long Sashes is made from coordinating Fabric. It closes at the center back with Hook & Bar Fasteners….
This Dress will accommodate a BUST MEASUREMENT up to 00 inches & a WAIST MEASUREMENT up to 00 inches.
