DESCRIPTION.
The design of the pantaloons is inspired by traditional pantaloons worn by Victorian women as undergarments, drawing inspiration from period designs but fashioning it for costume wear!
The pantaloons is available in cream cotton drill, with a few fabric options for the waistband. It features a Victorian back trail embellished with an antique-style brooch and antique gold Venise lace. The high waistband is adorned with steampunk charms and vintage glass beads. The pantaloons has both front and back pleats, and it closes on the side with an organic cotton zipper and statement brass buttons.
The suspenders come with high-quality solid brass hardware made in Japan. Over time, the brass will develop a patina, enhancing the antiqued look of the pantaloons.
It is fitting as a Victorian/Steampunk costume piece, but also comfortable enough to wear for less formal occasions (just remove the trail and the chains). It's all about styling and adding the right accessories to suit the look you're after and for the occasion.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand wash your pantaloons in cold water using eco-friendly detergent with non-optical brighteners, and line dry. Remove the suspenders, brooch, and chains first before washing.
The brass pieces used to make your brooch are finished with a professional lead-free oxidation process. The brass manufacturer recommends the following cleaning instructions: use a damp cloth only (no jewellery detergents, special cleaning cloths etc, as these will damage the surface of the brass).
POSTAGE COSTS
The postage costs for the pantaloons are $33 AUD for international customers and $15 AUD for Australian customers. International delivery takes 2 weeks on average. Your package will be shipped with tracking included.
Purchases of 2 or more items receive a postage discount, which is automatically calculated upon adding items to cart. Please rest assured that any overpaid postage will be refunded, once I post your package and receive confirmation of the exact postage costs. If I undercharge, however, I will pay the additional postage fees at my own expense.
