   I had the immense pleasure of seeing Count Rostov live a few weeks ago. This CD certainly lives up to the hype. Harking back to the radio plays of old, the comedy has been given a Steampunk twist. For me, the adverts were what made it. Absolutely brilliant! The man is a genius and I can only hope for more in the future! Every moment of this CD is pure gold. If you’re looking for something a little different, then this is the CD for you!

   I had the pleasure of seeing the live show at the launch of rayguns in aspic at the Asylum Steampunk fest. Some of the gags are older than Moses’ beard trimmer but there is a very playful edge to the skits and the voice talent works very well together. Heartily recommended for some groan worthy and some genuinely funny gags and puns. Go get it. Get it now!

   I was fortunate enough to be present at the live performance of Rayguns in Aspic and so was delighted to be able to purchase the CD and listen again…and again! Very funny, jolly good entertainment in the style of those fabulous old radio shows, full of pun and innuendo. Good, fun listening for Steampunks and non-Steampunks alike. Also worth noting that it is family-friendly; my 9 year old son loves the thrilling adventure ‘Crumpet by Caravan’! When can we buy the next installment?
