Here is a whimsical robot sculpture created by CopperWood. I found a couple of them which were built before my medical "vacation" from building. It is signed and numbered. The figure is made of copper and PVC fittings, solid copper tubing and wire, brass, and other industrial objects, AND it features a vintage vacuum tube head with metal grease zerk eyes! It has articulating joints which can be bent into any number of poses. Its hands are copper battery clips, which can grasp items such as note cards or other small objects. The "rivets" are brass plated steel, and are applied one at a time by hand. This metallic-like character would make the perfect addition to any geek's office desk or book shelf, or the newest member of a Steampunker's collection. It contains more than 200 component parts! The mechanical android's approximate dimensions are: height 12", arm span 15" , and weighs about 11 ounces. This work contains small parts, and so is not a child's toy, but any adult or teen with nerd tendencies will enjoy it. Thank you.
