This “biker girl / gothic” set seems more suitable as clubwear or gigwear than the a traditional body fashioning Victorian/Edwardian style training corset. Nevertheless, I found this set to be quite a cute and comfortable little number, which I put down to the acrylic flexi flat bones. They do help to pull my shape in, but they are not that supportive, which is probably just as well when partying all night long — I need to breathe! For real support, the “bones” should be harder like steel or perhaps bigger. Despite this, I haven’t dropped a star as the “biker girl / gothic” set is not advertised as a hard core corset, so I didn’t expect it to be too restrictive. If you are considering buying this, and you must be if you have read this far, then this is a factor you should take into consideration. It really depends what you want a corset for, and how and where you intend wearing it. Not all corsets are equal.
Mine is a XXL size, which sounds horrific but is actually a UK 14/16 (not as extra large as it sounds!!) and it fit me fine. I’m more of a size 12 to 14 so I would recommend going for a size up to what you normally wear as they are rather small sizes in comparison to the usual UK measurements.
I love the style! The corset ties up at the back but this part is more for show since it has front fastening clasps that make it easy to put on and take off again without too much effort, whilst remaining secure. A great idea. The little faux leather skirt can also be tied at the sides for a matching and quite cool style.
This set comes in either black or red with a little faux leather thong to finish off the look nicely.
I’d happily recommend this for that reason, you get a complete outfit for a decent price. However, I would suggest a stiffer boned corset for those experienced corset connoisseurs looking for something more restrictive – in an hourglass figure kind of way.

And lets be honest here, if you’re wearing this in the bedroom it’s not going to be on for long…

Take a size 8/10 usually so ordered a UK 8/10 which is classed as a medium and the fit for all the items is just about right.
The bustier/corset is easy to fasten and unfasten with it being so at the front. The back ribbons, well just left as were already done up and needed no altering. This part of the set could actually be used under a jacket for evening/clubbing wear, which is part of the reason I ordered this item. It does look good with jeans for evening. The boned effect, was surprised but comfortable to wear, no bits sticking out anywhere.
The skirt part and knicker part, well the skirt part is a nice little touch to the outfit. The knicker part, well not that comfortable for wearing. these two parts are more or less just inside bits. Put it one way if someone appeared wearing this in the small village where I live there would be nothing else to talk about but this little number. Would be thought of as maybe a vicars and tarts tea party, plus abit cold at the moment.
In actual fact am pleased with the outfit but can see the corset which is a leather effect but not stiff or uncomfortable to wear being worn a lot. To me the corset makes it.
