This is a new High-Victorian Gothic version of this bag; a little reticule-style evening purse made of black cobweb lace overlaid on silvery grey taffeta, lined in black, and trimmed with silver grey satin drawstring ribbons, and a silvery tassel with matching bead accents. Very elegant!
It is lozenge-shaped and about 10″ long by 6″ wide, not counting the tassel. The drawstrings are long enough to go over your arm (bu
t not your shoulder), and it is large enough to hold a purse, keys and other small items comfortably.Marks can be gently sponged off the lace and taffeta or lining- and even the tassel- but I do not advise washing as this will probably not do it any good!
