This pendant is created from an antique pocket watch made by the Hampden Watch Co., circa 1899, and dedicated to the Revolutionary War hero General John Stark. It features exquisite hand engraving of his name, scroll work on the wheel cock, and guilloche engraving over the surface of the movement done is such a way as to look holographic as the piece moves in the light. The surface of the movement is heavily embellished with numerous layered watch gears, four rubies, delicate, lacy, antique Victorian watch hands, and other watch movement parts from several vintage Ukrainian watch movements. The centre gear assembly sports a vintage rose/topaz AB Czech cabochon glowing with rich colours.
The pendant is fitted with a large decorative gear and a flower filigree on the reverse side for a nicely finished appearance and outfitted with a silver filigree bail. It is equipped with a 21" silver tone chain and lobster clasp. The pendant, including the bail, measures 2" in length x 1 1/2" in width.
