This Costume was created for the annual UK Steampunk Convivial, in Lincoln, and subsequently featured in The Independant and British airways in-flight magazine when it was photographed by Pal Hansen as part of a feature on the British Steampunk Phenomenon
I am undertaking similar style gown comissions – so why not display your countries flag with pride? Add a traditional hat or tiara and choose your own cameo picture to represent an icon of your country.
This particular gown features a cameo of the young Queen Victoria and the Union flag.
The whole outfit consists of
A steel boned white under corset.
Asymetric silk and leather bodice with cameo and vintage lace.
Small bustle cage.
Satin underskirt.
Draped cotton flag bustle swag.
One long white faux leather fingerless glove
all my costumes are created from the finest nmaterials and couture made. for overseas clients I create a fully boned bodice toile (mock up) which is sent to you to fit and mark any alterations on.British clients are encouraged to visit the studios for a personal fitting.
