This necklace pendant begins with a verdigris filigree base upon which a laser cut gear and a silver toned gear has been affixed. Atop this assemblage rests an antique pocket watch movement. The surface of the movement has been extensively enhanced with many gears and other parts from various antique and vintage watch movements to give it a mysterious mechanical appearance. It also features a beautifully Guilloche etched surface which shifts and changes as it moves in the light revealing a lovely pattern. Accenting it are a variety of vintage cabochons – all of them 'Jet AB' in nature, and glowing in tones of ruby, gold, aqua, and cobalt – and two Swarovski crystals – one amber and the other a clear crystal.
From the base of the pendant dangles an antique key. The key is embellished with a vintage watch movement and many vintage watch movement gears and other parts to impart a mechanical appearance to its surface. The watch movement has the same Jet AB cabochons found in the upper portion of the pendant.
The two part pendant measures 3 1/4" in length x 2 1/8" in width, and is equipped with a 15" silver toned snake chain.
